"She received the Gospel in Geauga County. Ohio, and was baptized by the hands of Elder Joel H. Johnson in June 1834. From that time to her death she was a faithful member of the Church [of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints]. She never murmured nor complained in all the persecutions she had to pass through for she had a testimony of this work for herself. She died as she lived, full of faith of a Glorious Resurrection with the Saints."
